Lenticular Holograms

Our September art drop is created by Caleb Madrigal, an Alabama-born hacker-turned-artist who specializes in mathy, lenticular holograms. Caleb uses math he learned doing radio hacking (breaking into cars and bypassing security systems) to visually explore various fractal and wavy mathematical landscapes. Most of his work involves custom computer programs and equations.

Caleb loves making math beautiful and enjoys sharing that beauty with others. He recently released a free non-binary graphing program called "FuzzyGraph" (https://fuzzygraph.com), which shows not only where both sides of an equation are equal, but also where they are close to equal (which shows a whole new dimension -  the shades of gray/color below the error==0 surface).

Of all math, waves continue to be one of Caleb's favorite types. Caleb lives with his family and does art in the ~wavy~ mountains of north Georgia in a little town called Ellijay. Click on the hologram photo above to visit his website.
