Our upcoming art collaboration is with Elizabeth Hautau Karp in partnership with Small Craft Kids Club.
Elizabeth's paintings explore shared human kinship through the natural world, with a particular focus on the beauty of plants. Centered on herbs and flowers native to the Southeastern region of North America, the work reflects a landscape the artist has called home for more than three decades.
Small Craft Kids Club is more than just an arts and crafts studio. They are a clubhouse designed for kids and adults to explore painting, drawing, sculpture, and so much more. They believe that being creative is a vital part of life, and they promote enrichment through the love of arts and crafts!
We will host a free watercolor painting class on March 6th from 7-8:30 with all materials provided, along with refreshments. To register visit https://www.smallcraftkidsclub.com/
In addition, there will be an art drop around the Metro Atlanta area throughout the month. The art gift includes watercolor paints, paper, and a postcard of Elizabeth's art.
March 25 5:30-6:30
We will host a bluegrass workshop at Waller's Coffee Shop in Decatur, GA featuring Jake Eddy. Jake Eddy is an American bluegrass and flatpicking guitarist known for his precision, speed, and deep respect for traditional acoustic music. Emerging from West Virginia’s strong bluegrass roots, Eddy developed his style early, heavily influenced by classic flatpickers such as Tony Rice and Doc Watson.
He gained national attention as a teenager through competition circuits and festival appearances, quickly building a reputation as a technically gifted player with mature musical phrasing. What separates Eddy from many young virtuosos is not just speed, but tone, timing, and tasteful melodic interpretation. He blends traditional bluegrass standards with creative improvisation while staying grounded in the genre’s rhythmic drive.
Eddy has performed both as a solo artist and with various bluegrass groups, appearing at festivals and workshops across the country. He is especially respected within the flatpicking community for his clean articulation, strong right-hand technique, and command of classic fiddle tunes.
We will host a house concert featuring singer-songwriter, Stevie Tombstone. He is known for blending outlaw country, blues, rock, and Americana into a gritty, road-tested sound. Often described as a modern-day troubadour, he built his career largely outside of the mainstream Nashville machine, cultivating a loyal following through relentless touring and independent releases. He is known for high-energy live performances and a strong connection with fans, especially in Southwestern and Southern touring circuits.
Born in Texas and raised in Arizona, Tombstone began performing at a young age and developed a reputation for raw vocals, sharp songwriting, and strong guitar work. His music reflects classic country storytelling layered with blues attitude and desert-toned rock influence. Themes in his work often center on independence, hardship, resilience, and life on the road.
Over the years, he has released multiple albums independently, maintaining creative control and staying true to his roots-oriented style. Rather than chasing commercial polish, Tombstone has leaned into authenticity, which has earned him respect within Americana and underground country circles.
